Here's the latest from "Richeyville"

Just a note to say that we hope to update our family news on this site regularly. If interested
look in the first week of each month and see what's been happening with the Slovan Richeys.

For now, C.J. is finishing his Junior year at Messiah College, registered for a needed summer
course during the day, and working 3rd shift at school for the summer. He expects to graduate
in May, 2008 with a major in Spanish, a major in English, and a minor in French (if I understand
correctly) and will have his teaching certificate for each. He's been playing on a very good and
successful indoor soccer team at school, and really enjoying it.

Chartel is out of school for now, planning to take the GED test soon, then on to whatever she
thinks she wants to do in life. She has worked various jobs at restaurants in the Pittsburgh
Airport area, hoping to waitress when she turns 18 in October. Things may change by then,
of course, so we'll see. Her driving experiences leave much to be desired, and two major dents
on the Intrepid remain unrepaired due to cost factor. She remains a very pretty yet strong-
minded girl, with so much talent and intelligence lacking motivation and self-discipline. PRAY!

As for Bill, I am working 3 jobs, usually between 60 and 70 hours a week, trying to get as many
of the bills paid off or down before Chartel's Social Security checks stop in September. If she
remains in the house I'm sure she will help with expenses some, but I want to be in a position
to handle any/all payments without her assistance, anticipating the day she leaves and goes
on with her life. Still single, unattached, unsuccessful, but thanking God for his blessings.
I refereed basketball again this past winter, reluctantly, then "retired" again after doing the
Pittsburgh Steeler charity basketball at the local high school. Will do that game again next
Spring, as requested, but don't plan to do regular school basketball again. Who knows, if I
discover the "fountain of not-so-oldness" I may hit the hardwoods because I really enjoy
the game, the youngsters, and the extra cash is nice.

Will "log off" for now. Plan to be more specific about our news next time - it's late and I have
to work in the morning - that's not new! Chartel, C.J., and Bill
